Hi! I’m Jordan Joyner and each and every day at ECU I am reminded of how God’s love for me is absolutely amazing. Before I came to college my life was the perfect routine of a high school Christian girl. I always did the right thing and accomplished so many things for other people…but I never talked to God. I called on Him when I needed something or when I was extremely happy about something and that was all. I made my own decisions and worried every day about my future. The summer before college I started to realize how much God had blessed my life. I realized that He had a very, very special plan for my life and the only way to fulfill His plan was to get serious in my relationship with Him. I started to give everything over to Him…slowly, but surely. I started talking to Him more and really TRUSTING in Him to take care of me and my family. He did His part too!!! He gave me the most amazing and beautiful Christian friends and boyfriend. Now, He has given me many more Christian girlfriends and role models. I know He is working in me everyday and showing me who He wants me to be and what my job for Him will consist of. Currently I am awe struck at how much He loves me and I am praying that He will lead me to a mission trip if that is His desire. I am praying that if He does call me to do mission work for Him that I will be able to pack everything up and not turn back. I am praying this prayer because of the sisters and candidates of Sigma Alpha Omega. They have given me the strength and courage for when the Lord says...
